2. Essential vs non-essential
- Essential cookies are necessary for the website and dashboard to work (sign-in, security, payments). They do not require consent.
- Non-essential cookies (analytics) are used to improve the product. For visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK, we set these only after you consent via our cookie banner, consistent with the ePrivacy Directive and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
- Service records (no cookies). Separately from cookies, we keep operational records of work our platform performs for you: for example, that an assessment was created, started or completed, and by which account.
